We arrived as absolute strangers to Astrid & Barries very well thought out apartment, and left as friends! Wonderful position - a little way up in the hills - so cooler and quieter than Bagneres - which is just a small distance away. The accomodation was absolutely perfect. We are in our 60's and its by far the best holiday accomodation we have ever rented. We spotted over 20 types of birds here! 22/06/2007 - Danny, Ben & Sam Wood, Madrid, Sydney, London. Alles is aanwezig om zalig te relaxen en je krijgt echt het gevoel dat je weg bent uit de drukte. Mooi appartement, fantastische hosts en lekkere wijn: wat heb je nog meer nodig… We had a fantastic stay, everything is there to relax - you get away from it all. Walkers are in their element - keen cyclists can challenge themselves on the climbs their Tour de France heros have done. Col de Tourmalet is only 18km from Le Parede. Visited Lourdes, Argeles Gazost & Pont d'Espangne but the highlight had to be the cable-car to Pic du Midi. 18/12/2007 - John Stone, Palma, Majorca. Stayed in this warm, cosy gite...went skiing at Bareges/La Mongie - 30 minutes easy drive. Great skiing and even better place to stay. 27/01/2008 - Carol & David Say, Broadstairs, Kent, UK. Our children's 1st skiing holiday - made easier by our hosts patient advice. The apartment was warm and cosy and spotless - and well appointed for the slopes. 30/01/2010 - Marilyn & Andy, Tundbridge Wells, UK.
